QatarDebate ambassador from the United States of America

 

Salma played a key role in QatarDebate’s outreach and success in the United States, as well as establishing the U.S. Arabic Debate Union, which will be the umbrella for all debate activities in the U.S.  She was the main Host Organizer at the 2nd USADC (2021) and the Host Coordinator of the 1st and 2nd U.S. Arabic Building Programs in Chicago (July 2019 and June 2021). She was also the Coach of the 1st USADC runner-up, an Elite Academy Graduate, and the Coach of the University of Chicago team at 5th IUDC 2019.

Salma is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University and previously earned her bachelor’s from the University of Chicago in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights. Salma’s work experience includes being a Research Analyst at Gartner Research Board and a Research Consultant at New York University.
