Nadia Darwish

Nadia Darwish, a debate coach at QatarDebate’s Arabic programs department since 2016.
Nadia presents various training courses for the different categories and age groups in our community, including schools, universities, and community partnerships. Nadia also helps in supervising and organizing debate championships and events held at QatarDebate throughout the academic year and works on developing training materials and curriculum.

Since 2011 Nadia has been debating at the university level and took part in various tournaments and championships locally and internationally where she received many team awards and individual awards, including third best speaker at the 3rd International Universities Debating Championship in 2015 with the team that won the championship title for that year.

As an adjudicator, Nadia has been judging debates with QatarDebate since 2012, where she judged various local championships and tournaments in addition to judging international debate championships in Qatar, Europe, and Asia.
Nadia also had in a role in coaching and training many school debate teams before joining QatarDebate.

Nadia graduated from Qatar University, with a bachelor’s in media communication, with a minor in Arabic language, and is interested in politics, philosophy, and media, and has multiple individual participations in those fields.
