QatarDebate presents training for Ministry of Sports & Youth program

QatarDebate, a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, presented a training program, part of the “Qatar Youth Ambassadors” program, which was organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, with a wide participation of representatives from various institutes. The week-long training focused on the art of debate, building arguments, and discussing various issues of concern to our society and to the world.

This program aligns with one of our effective objectives of QatarDebate, locally and globally, which is enhancing youth capacity-building in the general frameworks of debate and providing them with knowledge tools about the means of obtaining information and how to use it in the appropriate place and time.

The “Qatar Youth Ambassadors” program, in which 28 young Qatari men and women take part in, included individual and group workshops, which were presented by our debate instructors, Saad Elasad and Abdulrahman Al-Kubaisi.

QatarDebate was also keen to design the workshops in an applied style to help the participants in building cases on local and international issues of interest and focusing on presenting and defending their positions on such cases.

The participants pointed out the importance of these programs offered by the Ministry of Sports and Youth with the help of various authorities and expertise.
