The National Arabic Universities Debating Championship, organized by QatarDebate – established by Qatar Foundation for Education, Research and Community Development – concluded on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Multaqa in Education City, in the presence of the president of the Police Academy, Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Majed Al Shaheen Al-Sulaiti, a delegation from the Police College, Dr. Hayat Abdullah Marafie – Executive Director of QatarDebate – Dr. Ramzi Nasser, Dean of the College of Education and Arts at Lusail University, and from Qatar University, Mr. Yasser Al-Qawasmi, President of Student Clubs and Organizations at Qatar University.

After the competitive rounds and the enthusiastic atmosphere between the Police Academy team represented by the Police College and the Qatar University team for the title, the final round motion, “this house regrets dealing with the dramatization of historical figures and events.”

The Police Academy team represented by the Police College won the championship title by winning first place in the final of the National Championship for Universities Debating in Arabic, consisting of “Amer Al-Ansari, Saeed Al-Qahtani, Mohammed Al-Nasser” Qatar University team came in second place, consisting of Mohammed Al Yafei, Mohammed Faraj, Abdullah Al Shammari. And the third place also went to the Qatar University team consisting of “Al-Dana Al-Hajri, Asmahan Al-Kuwari, Al-Maha Al-Bader”
