Under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, the 4th International Schools Debating Championship in Arabic, organized by QatarDebate from 7-11 April, concludes today, with the participation of 50 Arab and foreign non-native countries. In Arabic, the Lebanese and Turkish teams qualified in the final round of the tournament.
The tournament witnessed strong competitions and an enthusiastic atmosphere between the participating teams, which resulted in the qualification of Lebanon and Turkey to the final round of the tournament, where the final round will take place this evening, amid a state of anticipation by all participating teams, to know the title holder in its fourth edition.

Members of the Turkish and Lebanese team, who qualified for the final round that they will compete for today in the closing ceremony, affirmed that they seek to present a good final round in the final competitions, noting that the International Schools Debating Championship has achieved its goals in developing the creative abilities of school students participating in the tournament, as well. It worked on the weight of their talents and produced a lot of creative talents among the students. It also worked on bringing out a new generation of young people capable of leading their societies.
They added, during the press conference held yesterday at the residence of the participating delegations at the Marriott Hotel, that the QatarDebate Center provided them with sufficient support to qualify for the final rounds of the tournament, through the feedback that worked to correct some mistakes during the previous rounds, emphasizing the integrity of arbitration and the professionalism that distinguished it.
