Pre-Nationals Training 2021/2022 Season   QatarDebate is offering a week of evening workshops in the lead-up to 2021-2022 season Nationals. The workshops are open for school and university students who wish to sharpen their skills in preparation for the  upcoming QSDL and QUDL nationals. QatarDebate is holding a 5-part Debate Training Series that discusses popular theories and philosophies usually used in debates.

The New York Times and QatarDebate Center - a member of Qatar Foundation, are proud to host an exciting debate during the World Economic Forum week at Davos.

QatarDebate is pleased to kickoff the 2022-2023 season with this introductory workshop on British Parliamentary format debating and adjudicating British parliamentary style debates.

Introduction debate for adjudicators   This workshop will enable the participants to enter the debate world as new adjudicators, and be able to join QatarDebate's debate judges network. In this workshop the basics of debating will be discussed along with the judging process, in addition to practical applications of judging debate rounds.   Date: 5 - 7 September 2022 Time: 4:00 - 7:00 PM Location: QatarDebate Center   Last day to register - 31 August 2022. **This workshop is in Arabic    

This training series targets new and existing coaches and coordinators in our QSDL community, focusing on facilitating and introducing debate or managing debate clubs and activities in schools.

This a series of 6 workshops, held weekly open to any secondary school students hoping to learn more about debating and develop their skills.

3rd U.S. Arabic Debating Championship   We are excited to announce the 3rd edition of the U.S Universities Arabic Debating Championship (3rd USADC), hosted at Stanford University in collaboration with the Abbasi Program between 14th – 16th October, 2022. This championship follows the tremendous success of the 1st USADC at Harvard in 2019 and the 2nd USADC at the University of Chicago in 2021.
