Overview
This Ramadan, QatarDebate is holding a 5-part Debate Training Series that discusses popular theories and philosophies usually used in debates. Students will engage in lively discussions and research with QD coaches. *Please note that the training is offered by seasoned debaters and focuses around using these themes in debates, rather than by legal or environmental experts focusing on the theory.

Approaching Narrative Debates |
As competitive debaters, you will have already or will soon encounter motions about narratives. This workshop is intended to be a narrative 101 – by referring to various examples of narrative debates we will define what narratives are, delineate the types of narratives, and analyze various strategies that can be taken in such debates. We will also go over general guidelines that can be helpful in most narrative debates and learn skills that will ultimately help you win these debates. |
