QatarDebate Open – Debate Tournament

 

 

QatarDebate would cordially like to invite you to our first tournament of the 2022-23 season – the QatarDebate Open (BP – British Parliamentary Style).

We expect some of the top-performing debaters across Qatar vying for the Champion title. The tournament will consist of preliminary rounds and a break to Finals, followed by an Awards Ceremony recognizing and awarding the Champion, Runner-up & Best Speakers.

Time                : 9:00 – 5:00pm

Venue              : Education City

Format             : British Parliamentary – 3 Prelims & Final

 

Registration is open to all (institution teams, composite teams, high school teams) – N1 judge rule applies

 

Reg Fees         : Team – QAR 250 (2 debaters)

                          Judges – Free

                          Observers – QAR 150 per person
