A debate tournament for Police College students

QatarDebate, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, organized the Police College Mini Debating Tournament as a debate course for college students, as a complement to the curriculum, and as part of the academic evaluation of 40% of the grade in the course.

The two-round league was held at the center’s headquarters in Education City on Tuesday, April 16, from 8 am to 12 pm, with the participation of 31 students from the Qatar Police College, in addition to the old students who will judge their colleagues under the guidance and guidance of the arbitrators of QatarDebate.

The participating students are also accompanied by a Chinese delegation consisting of 10 students, a colonel and two captains, in addition to a representative from the Chinese Embassy, ​​with the aim of getting acquainted with the QatarDebate Center and the college’s experience by offering a debate course. There will also be an accompanying delegation from the Police College.

The first round started with the following issue: “This council will confiscate and press cars used in the parade.” The students were distributed to several halls between the loyalists and the opposition, and after a short break, the second round started with the following issue: “This council will prevent civilians from acquiring firearms.”
