Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Saad bin Muhammad bin Saeed Al Mardouf Al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, the National Youth Committee concluded on Wednesday evening, February 13, 2019 the competitions of the Third National Debating Championship headed by Dr. Sami bin Salem Al Kharusi – Chairman of the National Youth Committee in the Sultanate of Oman.
The National Universities Debating Championship in the Sultanate of Oman, in cooperation with the Oman Debating Team, which came up with the idea of ​​organizing the tournament, training workshops, and training workshops, with QatarDebate, which participates with the committee in training and providing international arbitrators, as well as its technical support in formulating tournament issues.
This tournament is the result of years of hard work by the National Committee and the debate team in cooperation with QatarDebate hosted by the College of Applied Sciences in Salalah.

During the period from February 11-13, 2019, 14 teams from universities, colleges and sports clubs and 12 teams from schools participated and under the supervision of a number of local and international arbitrators, including some members of the Elite Debating Academy.
