The First Cycle of the Fellowship
The first cycle of the QatarDebate Fellowship Program spanned from 2022 to 2024. This groundbreaking initiative brought together a distinguished cohort of researchers, academics, and activists from around the world to delve deep into the multifaceted world of debate. QD Fellowship Journey
Over the course of two years, fellows embark on a transformative journey, engaging in a series of developmental stages. This includes networking opportunities, participation in international conferences, and dedicated time to advance their research projects.

First meeting at Stanford University to discuss the research projects and the fellows plans for the fellowship cycle.
Jan. 2023
Second meeting in Doha to discuss the technical details of each project.
May 2023
Fellows networked and discussed project feasibility with other researchers at the International Conference on Debate & Dialogue.
Jun. - Dec. 2023
Continuous meetings and gatherings online to keep up with fellows progress and experiences.

Attending and participating in international conferences to present papers, as well as publishing papers in academic journals.
