The workshop aims to provide the basic skills needed by those interested in exploring the field of debate to become debaters, adjudicators or coaches. In this workshop we will discuss the philosophy of debate, and how to build a case and analyze various issues, in addition to the mechanism for building arguments and the roles of speakers.
The “Debate Summer Camp” organized by QatarDebate will be hosting a group of distinguished debaters from high school students from Qatar, Kuwait and Oman. The camp’s program offers a wide range of training opportunities for students in the areas of debate, and Adjudicatory and it also develops their general knowledge. In addition, the camp seeks to develop students’ skills in moderating debates and discussion sessions through a training session to be held by the Aljazeera Media Institute.
