7th International Schools Debating Championship
Get ready for the 7th International Schools Debating Championship (ISDC)! Join talented young debaters from around the world as they tackle pressing global issues and showcase their skills in argumentation and critical thinking. The championship kicks off with online qualifying rounds from 10-11 May 2025, culminating in electrifying finals stage in Doha.

Qualification Rounds
10 - 11 May 2025
All teams will debate in 5 preliminary rounds. The qualification rounds will take place virtually (online).
Final Rounds
New Dates to be announced
The top 16 teams – 12 teams open category and 4 teams AFL category – will qualify to the final rounds in Doha, Qatar. Teams will debate amongst them in a series of rounds leading up to the AFL finals and the semifinals then final round for the open category.

Schools & Institutes Registration
For individuals and schools in communities without a national championship, register directly through our website. Start by registering your institution. Once application is approved, you can proceed to register your team members.

Host a National Championship
For countries that have active debate communities, you can register to host a national debate championship which will serve as a qualifying tournament to the 7th ISDC, making sure the best of the best represent your nation in the biggest Arabic debating championship for schools.
