The Police College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with QatarDebate, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, to establish working relations and cooperation in fields of common interest.

The MoU was signed by Brig. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al Mohanna, Director General of the Police College and Executive Director of QatarDebate, Dr Hayat Abdulla Maarafi.
The MoU aims to strengthen the students’ debating skills to help in their future leadership positions, and work on exchanging educational and scientific expertise of importance to both parties based on the required standards.

The MoU will allow the exchange of publications and use the support of experts in organising and participating in any activity that entails both parties.
It will deepen the debating culture to raise a generation that will be able to serve the Qatari community in the future.

QatarDebate aims through this MoU to upgrade the debating skills in order to nominate and qualify the potential teams from the Police College to participate in national and international debating competitions.

The centre will also train personnel from the college to be able to evaluate and judge debates for an interactive teaching method, to be used in the courses taught at the college.
