Asian Arabic Debating Championship

Get ready for the 3rd Asian Arabic Debating Championship (AADC)! Building on the success of past editions, we’re excited to announce the return of Asia’s premier Arabic debating tournament, taking place from October 28th to November 1st 2025, in Muscat, Oman.

The AADC brings together talented university debaters from across the continent, offering a unique platform for intellectual exchange, linguistic development, and cultural understanding. Participants will have the opportunity to hone their Arabic language skills, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and forge connections with peers who share a passion for debate.

The 2nd AADC, held in Muscat, Oman, in collaboration with the Omani Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and Oman Debate Center, brought together 42 teams from 18 countries. Prior to that, QatarDebate proudly hosted the inaugural 1st AADC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at IIUM, with 26 teams representing 20 countries.

The 3rd Edition

The third Asian Arabic Debating Championship, is proudly held in Muscat, Oman, and is organized by QatarDebate Center in collaboration with Oman Debate Center and The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.
