Doha – QatarDebate

With the participation of 254 debaters, the first round of secondary school debates, which was for 8 days, was concluded at the headquarters of QatarDebate Center – a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, and was also hosted by Al Shahaniya School, Omar bin Abdulaziz and Al Sailiya.

The center seeks to  Spreading the culture of debates to invest the minds of young students  Organizing periodicals and tournaments for schools and universities with the aim of developing their abilities to express themselves in both languages, as well as choosing issues that are characterized by objectivity, which strengthens the link between what students study in the classroom and the cultural vocabulary around them.

52 schools participating in the league

This league, in which 83 teams participated, was characterized by strong competition, closeness in the level of teams and speakers, and some joining the national team and representing the State of Qatar in international forums, and it was matched in the league  52 schools for boys and girls.
