QatarDebate Center – a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development – with its keen vision to empower youth and equip them with the right skills to dialogue with confidence and be able to persuade on issues of concern to our societies.

As an active member in the global community, QatarDebate in cooperation with the Amazing Generation Foundation – Goal 22 – organized a training workshop on “How to be effective sports advocates” on Friday, November 18, in which 32 countries participated.

The workshop aims to aid young leaders of different cultural and ethnic affiliations to enhance critical and argumentative thinking skills to be more effective advocates for sports, even in the face of negative opinions, and to improve persuasion skills, objectivity, and the ability to debate and express different points of views.
In addition to creating confident concepts to reach common visions about the importance of sport and the social values it carries at its core, to strengthen ties between peoples and openness to knowledge and cultures in all societies.
