The World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) is an annual tournament involving pre-tertiary debaters. Founded in 1988, the tournament is held in a different location every year. Qatar hosted the largest ever WSDC in 2010. Every year since 2008, Qatar has sent a delegation to compete at the WSDC.
QatarDebate developed and delivers an annual comprehensive and academically sound debate skills training that aims to equip a pool of high potential Qatari students between the ages of 12-18 years, to represent their country at regional and international debate competitions in the short- and long-run.
Being a judge at our competitions is an extremely important task, without judges our tournaments can’t run. The quality of your decisions also makes a big difference on the experience of our students. As such, QatarDebate has designed a rigorous training program to help develop our judges. Our training program is divided into three phases: Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced. This Intermediate session is for those who have completed the Beginners Session.

This session targets our existing regular panelists to improve the level of our existing panelists judging.
